ATV Jump Start
This is a really useful way to jump start your ATV as you will usually be cruising with at least one other ATV. This is a fairly simple way to get your ATV running, it's merely jumping it like when you jump a car. Connect the cables to the good battery first, then connect the bad Battery.
Set the parking brake. Turn on the fuel valve. Make sure that the engine stop switch is in the “run” or “on” position. Put the choke in the “on” position if the engine is cold.

The difficult steering can often point towards an issue with your power steering, a tie rod or ball joint seizing, or needing to grease your stem bushings and bearings.
If your ATV has enough fuel and it still doesn't start, perhaps the shut-off valve is loose or hasn't been closed off properly. Locate the spark plug behind the protective casing if you have a carbureted ATV and the ignition coil if you have a fuel-injected ATV. Make sure you use a tool to remove the plug.
To start a manual-equipped vehicle, first press both the brake and clutch pedals. In fact, modern cars with a manual transmission will require you to press the clutch to start it. With the clutch and brake pressed, turn the key or press the Start button and the engine should come to life.
Press the clutch fully down to the floor with your left foot before selecting first gear. Place your right foot to the accelerator pedal and hold it steady. As you slowly start to lift your left foot off the clutch, you'll feel the engine and wheels starting to engage and may see the front of the bonnet rise a little.
