After KDDI and Softbank, NTT Docomo (its subsidiary Frontier Development Strategy Inc.) joins the forces of Oasys. On November 8, 2022, NTT Docomo shared a new initiative regarding Web3 during its fiscal second quarter earnings announcement for the 2022 fiscal year. As part of this initiative, a new subsidiary will participate as a validator for Oasys. Yes, that is not the end. Oasys is working closely with the team to promote various Web3 business initiatives. Personally the key takeaway here is that all major telecommunication giants in Japan are moving forward to integrate blockchain technologies in a way that benefits their existing users and introduce newer experience, especially in the context of gaming.
